  3. You are not alone in your thinking Common responses: a fat textbook white lab coats bubbling beakers • All of those images reflect some aspect of science, but none of them provides a full picture because science has so many facets.

Our question ~ in what ways could teacher candidates “do” science with kindergarten students? • Recipe: • 15 Teacher Candidates ~ Created science experiences • 75 Kindergartners ~ Participated • 4 Teachers ~ Organized groups ~ snacks • 6 Teacher Aides ~ Supervised groups • 2 Administrators ~ Organized times ~ lab coats • 1 School Science Teacher ~ Shared resources • 1 College Professor ~ Facilitated

  5. We Got Up and Roared! We Did Science Galore! An Afternoon of Hands-on, Minds-on Science for Kindergarten Students! What did we do?
