  1. How sexual reproduction is the main source of variations

  2. Sexual reproduction affects variations because the traits of an organism are past down to its off spring for better fitness. The organism will have a better chance of living threw the changes of variations because mutations that occur can help an organism live if good.

  3. Genetic codons This is the protein for DNA. When reproducing they are making genetic material mix to get a different DNA. These are the codes for the traits of an organism. There is changes in codons these are seen in the meiosis process because every cell is different.

  4. Cross over This is when DNA moves and mixes up to increase the varieties of traits with in an organism. Sexual reproduction is the main source of variation.

  5. Geno/Phenotype Genotype- is the allele (trait) and it tells if its dominant meaning the stronger gene or if its recessive meaning it’s the weaker trait an example of a dominant is (RR,Rr) and an example of a recessive is(rr). Phenotype- is describing a trait of the gene telling what it is. An example is big (R) stands for big feet and little ( r ) stands for small feet.

  6. Alleles/mutations Alleles- are how many different variations you could get. Mutations- are when a DNA strand copies itself wrong there's 3 ways this could happen 1.To many nucleic bases 2.Not enough nucleic bases 3.Not in the right order
