  1. Making a PCB

  2. Structure: 1.1. Making a PCB 1.2. Assembling a circuit 1.2.1. The components I choose 1.2.2. The functions from the components 1.2.3. The way how the circuit works 1.3. Comparison Traditional placement - SMT Our Task

  3. 1.First the board is covered with cooper and photosensitive film. 2.Then the circuit mask is applied in the board. Making a PCB 3.Now, the board is exposed to light. 4.After that you etch away the unprotected cooper in acid lotion. 5.If you etch the unprotected cooper away you have to clean the surface of the board. 6.When the surface is drieded you have to drill holes for the components. 7.Finally, components are soldered on your board!

  4. Assembling a circuit Current circuit 1 Current circuit 2 That´s a current circuit to switch on lights on differend places.

  5. For my current circuit I chosse this components: The components I choose …. relay (K1,K2) …. switch (S1,S2) …. lamp (H1,H2)

  6. A relay is used to turn electric current on and off when a current flows through the coil of the relay. The functions from the components A switch is used to turn electric on and off. A lamp gives off light when a current flows through it. The switches, the lamps and the relay’s are connected in series .

  7. When the switch is turned on the current flows through the coil of the relay. So the coil is tighten and the current flows. The way how the circuit works When current flows through the coil of the relay current flows over the switches in the relay. So the light will burn. If you switched on the switch 1 (S1) the lamp 1 (H1) will burn. And when you switched on the switch 2 the lamp (H2) will burn.

  8. Surface Mount Technology is better than the Traditional placement then it is faster and it has a greater reliability. For the SMT you need smaller boards, because the circuits can be smaller as by the traditional placement. When you work with SMT-Method you must apply glue, then place your components  cure the glue and wave solder the Board. A disadvantage from the SMT-Method is you can´t use this at home.
