  2. Main Physics Goals +Today noon: 378 (nb)-1 • Comparison data for FMS CGC search • Extend xF and pT range for forward single-spin asymmetries • Study direct photon asymmetries in forward direction

  3. Goal: 4.5 (pb)-1 Now: 1.9 (pb)-1 • Electrons from Charm and Bottom, with low material, to resolve STAR/PHENIX discrepancy

  4. Commissioning task list • One TPC+DAQ sector (TPX: 1/24 DAQ1000) • 5 TOF trays (5/120, same sector as TPX) • Prototype Muon Detector (behind TOF+TPX) • Take data in Au+Au (run7), d+Au, p+p (run8) • Prepare for Low-energy Scancoincidence between BBCE&W&CTBScaler to CAD through pp2pp scaler (32 channels) Working on it this week • pp2pp • Locate the timing for signals • Commission readout to trigger electronics • Test TCD to detector later

  5. TOFTPX • TOF+TPX data rate at ~200Hz (now) • TPX (DAQ100) dE/dx distribution (reasonable) • TOF occupancy (uniform, 2 bad out of ~900)TOF electronics timing resolution (good)Offline calibration in progress • TPC track matches with TOF (good)
