What Is Prezi? • Prezi is a zooming presentation editor. • In simple terms, Prezi is a program that teachers can use to create a presentation that CATCHES your attention. • It is very similar to PowerPoint, but with more interesting features. • Presentations are created on a large “canvas,” just like an art project. • You can add text, images, and video to your presentation. How fun! • Items on the canvas can be dragged, tilted, and zoomed. • Can you imagine an alligator ZOOMING in as you sit at your seat? • A “path” can be drawn between the text, images, and video to create an animation. Almost like a movie!

Why Use Prezi?It Is Easy And Exciting! • With Prezi, teachers can teach students in a dynamic, interesting, and motivating way. • Think: Would you like to complete a worksheet about Greater Than and Less Than OR watch an engaging presentation about Greater Than and Less Than that uses pictures, text, and video? • Reflect: Which activity would be easier to understand? Which activity would be more interesting?
