Subcommittee Meetings • Residential HVAC - ASHP Meeting • Met July 2nd to review revised heat pump specifications • Reviewed in detail and edited specifications • Proposal • Shifts away from PTCS QA/QC, inspections, training, testing • Specification focuses only on technical requirements; evaluation picks up compliance rate through verification • Subcommittee resistance. • Concern without PTCS, there will be low compliance • Will be discussed and presented at next meeting for RTF decision.

Subcommittee Meetings • Residential HVAC - Prescriptive Duct Sealing • Met July 8th to review a proposed new planning measure • Specifications • Reviewed in detail and made edits • Savings Estimates • Research Plan • Reviewed, discussed • Will be reviewed by Evaluation/Research subcommittee • Measure proposal to come to RTF in September (tentative).

  4. Subcommittee Meetings • Scientific Irrigation Scheduling • Met July 9th • Reviewed existing data and measure • Discussed baseline use of efficient irrigation practices • Reviewed staff proposed methodology for SIS standard protocol • Approved next steps: determine current practice baseline from USDA Farm and Ranch Irrigation Survey

Research Plans • Reminder that many measures are Out of Compliance and need research plans • RTF relies on utilities/external stakeholders to bring forward plan and go get data • RTF helps to review and facilitate plan development • Has 17 measures on the list to susnset by end of 2013 unless research plan written
