Berkeley HEDAW • HESSI Status • Completed all environmental tests at JPL • Shipped to Vandenberg (VAFB) on Jan. 12 • Red Team review held on Jan. 30 • Currently on hold pending fix to Pegasus launch vehicle following anomaly with HETE launch last November • Steps to launch • Red Team report • Goddard Mission Readiness Review • HQ approval • Integrate with Pegasus at VAFB • Ferry from VAFB to Kennedy Space Center on L1011 • Launch date TBD until Pegasus problem is resolved

  7. Berkeley HEDAW • Objectives of the HEDAWs • Maximize HESSI scientific return • Obtain help in analyzing HESSI observations • Teach you how to use the existing HESSI data analysis software • Obtain your feedback on HESSI data analysis plans
