  13. Stress • Adrenaline is a chemical that your body releases when you experience stress. • Adrenaline makes: • your heart beat faster to pump more blood • your lungs work harder to take in more oxygen • boosts the amount of sugar in your blood • This gives you more energy to deal with danger.

This is especially true when you choose to avoid potentially harmful situations
