Please remember . . . *Five Senses *Positional Words *Short vowel Uu *December sight words: from want me play *reading strategy: Sequencing • *We will be having a “Polar Express” themed day on December 15th. Please have your child wear their pajamas for this exciting day.  • *Please dress your child in their holiday reindeer shirt for the field trip to the Augusta mall on Friday (Dec 8th). • We will be going on a field trip on December 8th. This will be a holiday 5 senses scavenger hunt through the Augusta mall. Please RETURN the signed permission form and money ASAP. The cost of this field trip is 5.00 per student (this includes lunch). *Dec 2 Secret Santa Shop 8-12 pm *Dec. 2 Breakfast with Santa and Kindergarten Holiday Program – please report to your teacher’s room at 9:15 wearing your holiday shirt, blue jeans and sneakers (shirts are being sent home today-Friday). *Dec. 8 Five Senses Field Trip *Dec 9 Mall Breakfast w/Santa 8-10 am *Dec 15 Pajama Day  *Dec 18 Family Night Out @ Stevie B’s 4:30-9 *Dec 19 End First Semester *Dec 20- Jan. 1 Christmas Holidays From the Teacher’s Desk *We will have a book exchange at our holiday party in December. Girls can bring a wrapped girl book and boys can bring a wrapped boy book. Please don’t spend more than $5. *We will be decorating gingerbread houses for our holiday party on December 19th. If you would like to volunteer to help out with this activity, please send in a note to your child’s teacher. Each child will be asked to send in one or two items. The form telling you this information is being sent home today. Thank you!!  Important Dates Tip of the Week Take a walk around your neighborhood with your family after dark to enjoy everyone’s holiday light display (make sure to wear reflective clothing and stay out of the street!). Have a cup of hot chocolate with holiday-shaped marshmallows to warm up when you get back home!
