  12. Arrival/Llegada • Drop-off is on the side lot by the gym or in the front of the school. Please feel free to park and walk your child in. Do not park your car in the drop off lane. If all parking spots are taken, please park on E. Frederick Dr. • Si va a dejar a su hijo, hágalo en el lado del gym o en el frente de la collegio. Si desea dejarlo personalmente, por favor estacione su carro y acompañe a su hijo adentro de la escuela. No deje su auto en el carril para dejar a los niños ya que estará bloqueando la entrada. Si no encuentra estacionamiento en el lado del gym, por favor vaya al estacionamiento al frente de la escuela. NO DEJE SU CARRO ANDANDO Y SIN ATENCION.

  13. Arrival/Llegada • First Day: We welcome you to walk your child to class. We will have staff members by the doors to receive the children. • Second Day: We ask that you drop your child off in the front parking lot where a teaching assistant will be waiting. • Primera Dia: Pueden acompañar a sus hijos a su clase. • Segunda Dia: Les agradeceríamos que dejaran a sus hijos en la frente de la escuela donde una asistente estará presente para recibir a sus hijos.

Absences / TardiesAusencias/Tardanzas • If your child is going to be absent from school please call our “Call in line” to report the absence. • 571-434-4541 This line is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. • If your student is tardy, then you must escort your child to the office to sign them in or they will receive and unexcused tardy. • Si su hijo va a estar ausente, por favor llame a la línea de ausencia al 571-434-4541. Esta línea esta abierta las 24 horas, 7 días a la semana. • Si su hijo va a llegar tarde, Ud. tiene que entrar a la escuela con y decir el motivo de su llegada tarde, de otra manera será considerada sin excusa.

  16. Dismissal/Despedida • If you pick up your child, please pull through the front bus lane and wait in your car. (Make sure that you are behind the buses as the bus students are dismissed first) wait until the buses and your child will be brought out to you. (Please be patient – SAFETY FIRST!) • Si viene a recoger a su hijo en auto, por favor vaya al lado del gym (kiss & ride) y su hijo será acompañado a su carro.

  17. Riding the Bus/Si va en el Bus Students who are bus riders ALWAYS ride the bus unless the school has a note from the parents. Estudiantes que van en el bus, SIEMPRE irán en el bus, a menos que los padres envien una nota a la escuela. Bus Stop: parent/guardian must be there to receive students off the bus Parada del Bus: padres o tutores tienen que estar presentes para recibir a los niños.

  18. Dismissal continued. . . Despedida continuación… • If you have a change in your routine please send a note and make sure it goes in the green folder. Any change must be made in writing or a call must be made to the office by the parent or guardian. • Only those persons specified on the Emergency Card may pick the children up unless specifically spelled out in a note from the parent. • Si tiene algún cambio en su rutina, por favor envie una nota indicando el cambio en el folder verde. Visits to SchoolVisitas a la Escuela • We love for you to visit school, but always make sure that you contact the teacher to let them know. • Queremos que visite la escuela, pero debe contactarse con la maestra de antemano y avisarle que quiere venir. • You must always check in the office to get a visitor badge. This must be worn at all times while in the building. • Debe de firmar como visitante en la oficina y usar la insignia de visitante en todo momento que se encuentre en el edificio.
