  1. Modern Art Modern art is ancient art from the 19th and 20th century, that was popular by being constructed by paintings and sculptures and later, came other techniques.

  2. Modern Art History • In The 19th & 20th century artists wanted to change their classic/traditional art form and start something new and unique concepts of “fine art”. • Modern Art was embraced with ridicule by the public, for it’s unfamiliar look, shape, texture etc. • Modern Art was practiced since the “Renaissance” era.

  3. Modern Art # 1 • This painting is unique because of the artistes positioning of this woman. • The color scheme. • Painting shows freedom and movement. • A lot of different perspective of what the hidden meaning is.

  4. Modern Art #2 • This painting is an oil painting that was designed in the twentieth century. • The image seems to illustrate some type of labor. • The black and white gives depth to the image. • The stillness of the painting looks like a photograph, b/c of it’s preciseness.

  5. Modern Art #3 This sculpture is of the human structure. The sculptor captured every crease of the physical make-up of the back of a man. It represent strength along w/ the hands that created this image.

  6. Modern Art #4 • This image is of two lovers . • The color of this painting’s color seems to be distorted. • The woman’s body is portrayed/ shown w/ a lot of curves. • Shape image.

  7. Modern Art #5 • Once again curves of a woman. • Color contrast. • The positioning of the images. • Symmetrical. • Image is of the golden ages, where in that era the perspective of women, were all alike.
