Total Safety Management Overview Initial Set-Up ▼L.A.A.P., Inc. will develop your comprehensive Safety Management Program with the primary goal being the reduction of worker’s compensation costs and potential third-party liability, along with other less obvious cost of work-related injuries and illnesses, regulatory compliance, and also help improve employee morale and productivity. ▼L.A.A.P., Inc. will develop and/or enhance your Safety Manual with customized policies and procedures to comply with Worker’s Compensation and OSHA rules and regulations, and to coincide with the general safety attitude your company wishes to express to its employees, contractors, patrons, and visitors. ▼L.A.A.P., Inc. will conduct and document a hazard assessment of your facility, as required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.132(d), to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment [PPE]. This assessment may include employee and area exposure monitoring to determine the level of potential exposure to hazardous vapors, fumes, and dust. It may also include a security assessment of your facility to determine where the weaknesses are located. ▼L.A.A.P. Inc. will implement a computer-based program to monitor all job-related accidents and incidents sustained. Our program is capable of producing information so that all injuries and accidents are reviewed to provide the best data for complete accident analysis and tracking. Company specific Accident Investigation Reports will be developed for use whenever a job-related accident occurs. The Accident Investigation Report, completed by the supervisor of the injured employee, and copies of all information received from the medical facility will be submitted to our office for entry into the database. L.A.A.P., Inc.

Total Safety Management Overview Included Continuous Service ▼L.A.A.P., Inc. with its 50+ years of combined experience, will become YOUR safety and loss prevention consulting staff, providing the same knowledge and experience as an in-house safety staff. Periodic and annual reviews of the Company Safety Manual will be conducted to modify and/or update for any regulatory changes. ▼L.A.A.P., Inc. will conduct safety audits of your facility with the goal of ensuring a safe workplace, reducing accidents/incidents and the potential for third-party liability, while ensuring continuous compliance with local, State, and Federal regulations. Safety meetings with all employees will also be conducted to ensure regulatory compliance and educating employees in safe operations of their tasks. Such safety meetings typically will not exceed 45 minutes in duration. Additional training classes may be conducted based upon the needs of the Client. ▼L.A.A.P., Inc. will assist in the establishment and training of a Facility Safety Committee. The Safety Committee should be responsible for ensuring that accident investigations are conducted, review of L.A.A.P. Inc.’s Safety Audit Report and ensuring correction to infractions noted, and review of all Accident Investigation Reports. L.A.A.P. Inc. will conduct facility safety audits and employee safety meetings during their visit to your facility. ▼L.A.A.P., Inc. will provide Accident Investigation Reports to each facility for the purpose of conducting a thorough investigation of any and all accidents and incidents occurring to employees, contractors, and visitors. ▼Quarterly Analysis Reports will be provided to client. These reports will assist in determining any accident trends that may be developing. Recommendations to eliminate such trends, and preventing recurrence, will also be provided. ▼L.A.A.P. Inc. will be on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for any technical questions or telephone consultation. We will also provide on-call availability for investigations of accidents, along with providing assistance with Federal and/or State regulatory audits and inspections. L.A.A.P., Inc.
