The Role Played by NGOs in the Upliftment of Society: Ek Sankalp Non-governmental organizations or NGO surely play a very significant role in the society today, typically by the way of picking up all the deficits in terms of services of the government and providing social protection for the citizens by the way of philanthropy of donors as well as the socially aware. NGOs are said to be playing a very important rule in the overall well-being of mankind as there are a few issues where an individual is not strong enough to fight against it. In this situation, a team-work provided by NGO or CSR partnership with NGO comes forth to help the society at large, thereby uplifting them, both in terms of financial need as well as motivational support.   2. The NGOs are mostly funded and run primarily by the volunteers. These days, the concept of CSR partnership with NGO is also becoming very popular, where all the corporate associations and companies are extending their funds either to any independent NGO or to any other group of people who are serving for the welfare of the society at large. These corporations today are believed to be funding various NGOs; some of them are even forming a partnership with the concerned body, thereby working together for the welfare of the society. NGOs in India have helped the needy section of the society with all the bare needs and the dimension of CSR partnership with NGO is giving it a better shape. As a result, a great number of NGOs are working for the development of needy individuals and helping the society at large. CSR partnership with NGO surely has a bright future ahead.
