  • Introduction to the Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies through inquiry
    • making observations and predictions, collecting data, and drawing conclusions.
  • Explore and find supporting video clips on Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies
  • Post findings on shared wiki space.

Afternoon (1 – 3)

              • NOVEL - Library (postponed due to weather)
              • Writing Strategies for an inquiry based investigation (If time permits) Reflection

  • Where you teach
  • Tell your partner two truths and one lie about yourselves. Your partner has to figure out the lie.
  • Your partner will have to introduce you to the group.

Day 3 Expectations:

By day 3 you will have completed the following:

  • Inquiry based lesson
  • Writing Assignment using one of the 14 Writing Strategies or one of your own

You will bring the following:

  • Inquiry Based Lesson (4 copies)
  • 3 pieces of student work with names blacked out (4 copies)
  • Writing Rubric (4 copies)
so by the end you will produce
SO, by the end you will produce:
  • Student work that shows evidence of observation, prediction, collection of data and conclusion.
  • A repository of resources that can be used for this topic in the future.
