About Sound & Audio Engineering ZIMA have three audio engineering programs which introduce students to the theories, practices, and tools used in digital audio production, focusing on the fundamental theories and concepts behind various types of digital audio tools. The techniques and technology typical to professional location sync sound, music recording and film post production, using advanced consoles and virtual mixers.   2. Course Outline: Duration: 12 months Three Hours a Day, Three Days a Week+ 1 Practical & 1 Film Appreciation a week! Sound Engineering - What is it? There are several different types of sound engineers who specialize in different aspects of the job. A sound engineer is responsible for the machines that record, mix, edit and reproduce sound track, in film, multimedia & music industry. Sound engineer also operates and maintains microphones, processors, mixing boards, amplifiers, speakers and other recording equipment's used for radio, television, theatre and live concerts.

  4. Film Sound Designing Duration: 6 months Three Hours a Day, Three Days a Week+ 1 Practical & 1 Film Appreciation a week!Sound Designing - What is it? Sound design is a technical creative field. It covers all non-compositional elements of a film, a play, a recording, computer game software or any other multimedia audio projects. This program introduces sound design in the context of audio-visual production.Students will be exposed to both theoretical and practical aspects of sound design. Electronic/MIDI music programming technology is used in music, radio, television and audio recording studios for advertising jingle production, multimedia production (CD/DVD/online/video game/mobile) and music composition. This program introduces careers in music studio production and related occupations.
