CMS Production Center • The scope of this project was to implement a Data Gird Node (Collection of Computers to work as a single entity to get the power of multiple computers/processors) at NUST Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) which is capable of handling/processing events generated by CMS Detector (currently simulated events).

  10. Current Hardware Setup CERN Lab Street # 8 1- One CMS Production Server. 2- One backup CMS Production server. 3- Initially 2 Client nodes for job execution. For Future All computer of CERN lab can be used as PBS clients.

Talal Rabbani Explore SRB and prepare its demo Practically explore, how our windows machines can be used for job execution. 3. Atif Mehmood Setup/test pbs client on any two computers placed in first room of CERN lab and write a document on adding pbs nodes. Make flash movie of NIIT CMS Production architecture for NIIT web page 4. Adeel Zafar Finalize CMS Production document after getting individual input/documents from all group members. Finalize web page for NIIT CMS Production Center Project
