The Endocrine System Structures The endocrine system has many structures. All of the structures include certain horomones. Certain structures include certain horomones.

This system has 3 signaling types. Signals include Autocrine, Paracrine, and Juxtacrine.
Autocrine Signaling The Autocrine is a form of signaling in which a cell secretes (Generate) a hormone, or a chemical messenger that binds the autocrine receptors to the same cell, leading to changes to the cell.
Paracrine Signaling Paracrine signalling is a form of cell signalling in which the target cell is near ("para" = near) the signal-releasing cell.
Juxtacrine Signaling Juxtacrine signalling is a type of intercellular(situatedbetweenoramong cells) communication that is transmitted via oligosaccharide(carbohydrate), lipid(organic compounds that are greasy), or protein components of a cell membrane, and may affect either the emitting cell or the immediately adjacent cells.

Negative Signaling The stopping of the synthesis of an enzyme by the accumulation of the products of the enzyme-mediated reaction.
Positive Feedback Biochemical control where the accumulation of the product stimulates production of an enzyme responsible for that product's production.
