Can be a bottleneck (1,2,3,4…) • Archaeological approach ? • Triage • Exit strategy – kick – out points are needed • Risk Analysis approach may have merit • Opportunity cost , or lost cost • Helps in applying resources and eventually speed • Layered model for DIP • Gives practitioners options for analysis

  5. What is the domain of DIP analysis • Will need to capture indicators or precursors as well as ex post facto data • Perhaps more in military or business domain
