  1. Status of LVL2 e/ persistification Monika Wielers Alan Watson Etham-Etienne Wöhrling Ricardo Gonçalo ESD status CBNT from ESD: status and tests

  2. Reconstruction CBNT ESD CBNT AOD Persistification of trigger info Reminder: • Information currently available in the CBNT and used for example by the e/ analysis framework • ESD level: need to store or be able to reconstruct LVL2 clusters and tracks and LVL1 RoI information • CBNT level: • must be able to produce CBNT from ESD objects • Needed for running the e/ framework, for example Previous talks: PESA-Algo meetings Dec 7; Jan 27; Feb 5; PESA-validation Mar 14 UK e/gamma - UCL

  3. ESD status • Level 1 Trigger Towers: are being made persistent and are stored in the ESD (Etham working on it at the moment) • Level 2 Clusters: • EMShowerMinimal objects were made persistent and are stored in ESD • Running in 10.0.0; tested in recent nightly (atlrel_1) • Level 2 Tracks: • TrigInDetTracks converted to offline class TrackParticle and stored in ESD • offline TrackParticle objects already persistent • Running in 10.0.0 after correcting bug in jobOptions and update to TrigInDetUtils; tested in atlrel_1 UK e/gamma - UCL

  4. Combined Ntuple status • Level 1: • TrigT1Calo-01-06-01 (Alan) stores L1 variables in CBNT • currently in the nightlies to go into 10.0.1 • Level 2 Clusters: • TrigNtEgamma stores cluster info in CBNT • No modifications, runs on EMShowerMinimal (now in ESD) • Level 2 Tracks: • TrigNtEgamma and TrigNtInDet both need changes to store tracks in CBNT – ongoing! • Works at a minimal level: some variables still not filled • Should be committed to CVS (very) soon for 10.0.1 UK e/gamma - UCL

  5. CBNT from ESD - validation • Ran on 200 single electron events with pT>25GeV and Rome layout, noise but no pileup, • ESD files produced by Monika; CBNT produced from ESD files with my private modifications of TrigNtInDet and TrigNtEgamma • Results from last night, no time to make them look nice, (apologies). No experience with these variables, just picked ones that meant something to me. From reconstruction From ESD UK e/gamma - UCL

  6. reconstruction Level 1 from ESD Scaled by 103 ?!! UK e/gamma - UCL

  7. reconstruction Level 2 clusters from ESD UK e/gamma - UCL

  8. Level 2 clusters reconstruction from ESD UK e/gamma - UCL

  9. Level 2 tracks reconstruction from ESD UK e/gamma - UCL

  10. Level 2 tracks ?!! reconstruction Signed pT? Check negative values from ESD UK e/gamma - UCL

  11. Level 2 tracks reconstruction from ESD UK e/gamma - UCL

  12. Level 2 tracks ?!! reconstruction from ESD UK e/gamma - UCL

  13. Conclusions • First stage almost completed: trigger quantities stored in the ESD; Trigger Towers almost done • Second stage is to have a CBNT filled from the ESD: • Most code is there but probably needs more testing • Some tracking variables yet to be filled • Fast running out of time!… • Tests of CBNT production from ESD • Looked at a few variables and most look fine • Differences need to be tracked down fast and corrected • All this should be in 10.0.1 UK e/gamma - UCL
