Communicating European Achievements in Space What Next? 1st option: We stay as we are: an informal space group with case by case relationships between science centers interested in the theme depending on individual projects or partnerships • No special action as a group following this workshop
Communicating European Achievements in Space What Next? 2nd option: One space thematic group is launched, driven by ESA, a space center and a science center • Actions to be done: • define the purpose and objectives of this group (for whom and for what) • define the actors of the group and the pilot (who) • define the ways of communication, network, meetings (How) • define a program of actions (What)
Communicating European Achievements in Space What Next? 3rd option: One Space thematic group within Ecsite • Actions to be done to fill Ecsite thematic group specifications: • Define the purpose and objectives (MEMO= The vision) • Define a Chairperson and a steering committee • Measure the financial implications (Fees for Ecsite) • Define the strategic plan • Present the MEMO to the Ecsite Board for approbation

Proposed next step: • Decide for option 3 • Space group members work at distance, • exchanging thoughts about points 1 to 5; driven for the first yearby ESA (Maria Menedez), Pavilhao de Conhecimento (Ana Noronha) and Cité de l’espace (Marc Moutin) • Meeting at the IAC in Naples, October 1-5 • (Other possibilities: Farnborough, July 9-15; ILA Berlin Sept 11-16)
