2. When Hunkey the Monkey finished his classes in Madrid, He went to Norwich, a city located in the East of England, to take part in a course in order to improve his English language. • The first impresion that Hunkey had when he arrived in University was:

3. -And all the people speak in a secret code .They told us in the morning: The MPO group will go to EF208 room in the UEA to take a lesson of CLIL from a teacher of NILE. - Oh! What a strange place! Here, even rabbits go to the school. They must be very clever.

4. - I prefer coffee to English tea, because I need to wake me up... I fell asleep in Susan class. - At break time Hunkey went to relax to the Sainsbury Centre, a space for Visual Arts into a Norman Foster building,

5. - Hey guys! Look at the cars! The drivers are crazy! All of them drive by the wrong side. - After classes he decided to go for a walk to Norwich with his collegues the Others, to discover the city. They bought a weekly ticket in the bus. It´s not very expensive. 14 pounds. And you can take the bus that you want in anywhere.

6. I’ll go in to ask in the tourist information oficce which are the main historic places that I can visit. The first place that Hunkey visited was “The Forum”, a popular, large, new place where people meet each other and spend some time reading newspapers, books and magazines, or eating light food or using computers.

7. I thought that British people used to have shower into their houses, not outdoor. The weather was awful during the time that he spent in Norwich. Everyday was raining.

Thank you! ...Now I can see “The New Market”. Next to de Forum is the City Hall, a large building with columns in the front and big doors with some different carvings about jobs of the region. 10. I must go straight ahead along the Gentleman´s walk till St. Andrew Street. Then turn right. At the bottom of the street turn left, then turn right. OH! ....What a mess! It would be better if I ask to someone. Hunkey was lost. He wanted to go to the Cathedral, but he didn´t know how to find it.

11. They say that this is the second tallest spire in the country. I´m not sure, because this people are always boasting. At last, he found the Cathedral. This is the Anglican one. In 1096, Herbert de Losinga, the Bishop of Thetford, began construction of it. At that time, Norwich became an important Norman City

12. They also say that this is the largest cloister in all England. I appreciate that it’s gorgeous.

It should be a very important city, because lots of foreingers came here: first Romans, then Anglosaxons, Vikyns, Normans, Jewish and, in modern time, Spanish students and people from all over the world. Close to the Cathedral, the river Wemsum run quietly. In the seven century, Anglosaxons settled on the left side and four centuries later Normans settled on the right side.

14. He phoned to his family using a phone card. It ‘s cheaper than the mobile Hello mum! I’m fine. The town is fantastic. Walking around it’s like travelling back in the time.

15. How clever was the Norman king. From the castle, on the top of the hill he could watch his woman when she went to the market. Hunkey visited the 12th century Castle, one of the finest Norman secular buildings in Europe. Today, it’s home to the county’s principal museum

16. Oh! What a surprise! My teacher Kay lives in this medieval house. I’m going to invite myself to have a tea in her home. Don’t you think it’s a good idea or I’m not being so much polite? I’ll tell you later. He went on walking along the medieval streets, lanes and alleys lined with small speciality shops, and attractive half-timbered houses, most notably the Elm Hill

17. They say that the city has a church for every week of the year, and a pub for every day. Walking around the medieval city, Hunkey saw many churches. Norwich has over 30 medieval churches within the city walls alone. Many still function as parish churches, but others have been converted to other uses, like Arts Centre or Puppet Theatre.

18. By the way, all churches seem to be dirty. The reason is because they were built with a kind of heavy black stone called flint.

19. He left the medieval city crossing the rests of the city walls.By the middle of 14th century, about two and a half miles long, had been completed.

20. In Spain a city with two cathedrals doesn’t exist. In England is quite usual. So you can choose one of them.... Or no one. The last building visited by Hunkey was the Catholic cathedral. Built in 1894 it’s a fine example of the 19th Century gothic revival.

21. I love it. It’s delicious! After dinner I’ll meet some of my friends that are living here, all of them well known: “the Red Lion”, “the Black Horse” “the Withe Horse” “the Hog” and “the Fat Cat” At the end of the day Hunkey was very tired and he needed to rest and have dinner. He chose a typical Eglish pub and tried a typical English fish and chips.
