  1. Mbuo Caux Tin-Hungh Ziangh JienvOur intimacy with GodGenesis 1:26Tin Deic Douh 1:26July 13, 2008

  2. “Tin-Hungh aengx gorngv, “Mbuo oix zuqc ziux mbuo nyei fangx zeiv zeix mienh daaih zuangv mbuo yaac hnangv mbuo nor, bun ninh mbuo gunv koiv gu'nyuoz nyei mbiauz, yiem ndaamh lungh nyei norqc, nyungc-nyungc saeng-kuv, yaac gunv nyungc-nyungc nyorng ndau-beih nyei ga'naaiv.” Then God said, “Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life, the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals, and small animals.”

  3. Biux Mengh WaacDongh hlo jiez nyei jauv mbuo qiemx zuqc se hnamv nyei jauv. Mbuo dauh dauh yiem mbuo nyei hnyouv haiz, oix maaih mienh hnamv mbuo, yaac fungx mbuo benx dauh longc jienv nyei mienh. Yiem mbuo nyei hnyouv gu’nyuoz, mbuo haiz oix hiuv duqv gorngv maaih dauh mienh gengh hnamv mbuo yaac ziux goux mbuo. One of our greatest needs is to know that we are loved. Each one of us has to feel certain, deep down in our hearts, that someone loves us, cares for us, and has our best interests at heart.

  4. Tin-Hungh zeix mbuo baamh mienh daaih weic caux ninh jiu tong yiem hnyouv – da’yietv caux Ninh, liuz aengx caux ganh dauh. Mv baac mbuo maiv haih gengh hnamv ganh dauh cuotv mbuo duqv zipv fai duqv haiz Tin-Hungh nyei hnamv yiem mbuo. Mbuo haih duqv haiz Tin-Hungh nyei hnamv se mbuo oix zuqc laengz nyiemc bun ninh zoux Ziouv caux zoux mbuo nyei Doic. God created human beings with fellowship in mind – first with Himself, and then with others. But we cannot fully love one another until we have ourselves experienced the love of God. We experience His love when we willingly surrender to His call to our Savior, Lord and Friend.

  5. Aengx zoqc yaac maaih buo nyungc jauv Tin-Hungh lorz mbuo laengz nyiemc ninh nyei jauv. There are at least three reason God seeks our surrender:

  6. I. Ninh hnamv mbuo oix Caux mbuo jiu tong oix mbuo baaix zangc ninh. He loves us and desires our fellowship and worship.

  7. Se gorngv mbuo siou nyungc baav maiv bun Tin-Hungh nor, mbuo maiv zuqc hnamv gorngv mbuo haih duqv hiuv nzengc Tin-Hungh nyei jauv, fai haih duqv haiz Ninh nyei hnamv. Haaix zanc mbuo laengz bun nzengc Ninh, mbuo ziouc duqv zipv nzengc ninh nyei jauv. So long as we hold something back from God, we cannot know Him completely or fully experience His love. When we surrender to Him, we get all Him.

  8. II. Ninh oix mbuo fuh sux Ninh nyei jauv longx nyei caux yaac ziangh biouv gitv nyei. He wants our services for Him To be effective and fruitful.

  9. Mbuo yietc zei hiuv yietc zei hnamv Yesu camv, mbuo fuh sux nyei jauv yietc zei longx faaux. Mbuo yietc zei nitv fatv Tin-Hungh, mbuo nyei maengc yietc zei nyiemz. Mbuo yietc zei hoqc nitv fatv Tin-Hungh mbuo yietc zei maaih qaqv nitv fatv. The more we get to know and love Jesus, the more effective our service will be. The closer we draw to God, the more impact our lives will have. The more energetically we nurture our relationship with the Lord, the greater positive mark we will leave behind.

  10. III. Ninh zuov jienv mbuo bungx nqoi bun ninh ceix fuqv mbuo. He waits for the freedom to bless us.

  11. Tin-Hungh hiuv nzengc nyungc-nyungc, mv baac ninh maiv zoux waaic ninh ganh nyei leiz. Ninh dorh mbuo daaih lorz ninh ganh liuz mbuo yaac haih duqv haiz ninh nyei hnamv caux ninh guangc zuiz nyei jauv. Ninh heuc mbuo nyiemc nzengc mbuo nyei yietc zungv sic bun ninh liuz ninh cingx daaih haih ceix longx jiex nyei fuqv bun mbuo. God is omnipotent but will not violate His principles. He draws us to Himself so we can experience His love and forgiveness. He asks for our willing surrender so that He can give us the best blessings He has to offer.

  12. IV. Weic haaix diuc? Liemh jienv yiem mbuo nyei hnyouv hnamv taux nyei naaiv deix yietc zungv jauv, weic haaix diuc maaih deix mienh ngaengc jienv maiv laengz nyiemc bun Tin-Hungh? So why do we resist? With all this in mind, why does anyone resist surrendering to God?

  13. Ceng-hlo nyei jauv se benx yietc norm forv-zeih bun dauh dauh mienh ngaengc jienv maiv laengz nyiemc mbuo zoux dorngc nyei sic bun Tin-Hungh. Ninh mbo hnamv daaih ninh mbuo gauh hiuv Tin-Hungh caux laaic duqv gorngv ninh mbuo ganh haih gunv goux ninh mbuo nyei maengc gauh longx Tin-Hungh, liuz ninh mbuo ziouc maiv bun Tin-Hungh nyei buoz daaih fatv ninh mbuo. Pride is the key reason most people resist surrender. They think they know better than God and that they can handle their life better than He can, so they keep Him at arm’s distance.

  14. Maaih deix maiv laengz nyiemc bun Tin-Hungh se weic zuqc ninh mbuo gamh nziex Tin-Hungh (zoux fai maiv zoux) bun ninh mbuo nyei jauv. Ninh mbuo hnamv se gorngv Tin-Hungh gunv nzengc, Ninh oix zoux bun ninh mbuo hnangv Ninh oix zoux nyei jauv ziouc zoux bun ninh mbuo gauh kouv. Others do not surrender because they fear what God will do (or not do) for them. They think that if they give Him control, He’ll make them do exactly what will make them most miserable.

  15. Aengx maaih deix maiv oix laengz nyiemc bun Giduc se weic zuqc ninh mbo sienx Saa^daan nyei gorngv-baeqc, gorngv Tin-Hungh se dongh siemv zuiz caux dingc zuiz dongh zoux dorngc nyei mienh. Still others refuse to surrender to Christ because they believe Satan’s lie, which tells them that God is judgmental and will punish them for their mistakes.

  16. Yietc zungv naaiv se jaav nyei jauv! Yiem Tin-Hungh nyei hnyouv Ninh haaix zanc yaac guaax taux oix bun mbuo duqv longx jiex nyei jauv. Ninh maiv oix bun haaix nyungc maiv benx nyei ga’naaiv mbuo haaix zanc mbuo a’hneiv nyei mbuoqc Ninh nyei eix (Lomaa 8:32). Ninh mbuox mbuo, “Yie hiuv duqv yie weic meih mbuo maaih nyei za’eix, se weic bun meih mbuo duqv longx maiv zeiz duqv ciouv, weic bun meih mbuo maaih hoz nqaang yaac maaih lamh hnamv dorngx.” (Ye^le^mi 29:11). All of this is completely false! God always has our best in mind. He will refuse us no good thing when we gladly submit to His will (Romans 8:32). He tells us, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jer. 29:11).

  17. Yietc nyungc maaih eix-leiz nyei jauv se oix zuqc laengz bun nzengc Tin-Hungh, weic zuqc haaix zanc mbuo zoux, mbuo hlo nitv fatv Ninh – Ninh hlaang jiex nyei za’eix weic mbuo – caux mbuo jiex gorn haih bieqc hnyouv taux mbuo ganh nyei jauv caux mbuo nyei lungh ndiev nyei jauv. It only makes sense to surrender to God, because when we do, we grow close to Him – His highest priority for us – and we begin to have an impact on our world.

  18. Meih hnamv nyei jauv duqv zoux ziangx. Maaih nzunc Anne Graham Lotz gorngv taux ninh buangh zuqc nyei ziex nyungc sic mbuox dongh naaic ninh wuov deix mienh yiem jiex daaih wuov deix hnyaangx, liemh jienv ninh nyei domh mienh nyei baengc zingh nyei jauv caux ninh nyei dorn nyei cancer. Ninh ziouc mingh taux norm bouc, dongh oix duqv Yesu tengx ninh nyei jauv. “Kungx bun Yesu yie hnangv,” ninh gorngv. Fulfill your destiny. Anne Graham Lotz once told an interviewer about the many trials she had faced over the previous few years, including her parents serious illnesses and her son’s battle with cancer. She finally came to the point where all she wanted was Jesus, “she declared.

  19. Anne zieqv duqv se gorngv ninh maaih gorqc zei nyei jauv jiu tong caux Ziouv yiem naaiv norm lungh ndiev nor, maiv gunv ninh buangh haaix nyungc sic, Ziouv yaac caux ninh dongh yiem, yaac oix tengx ninh mbenc sung nyungc-nyungc sic, yaac oix bun ninh nyei hnyouv maaih baengh orn Anne realized that if she had a personal, intimate relationship with the Savior of this universe, then whatever problems she faced, He would face them with her and He would bring a sweet resolve and a peace to her heart.

  20. Meih nyiemv naaiv se benx yiem meih nyei hnyouv cuotv daaih fai? Meih hiuv duqv meih oix longc Njoux Ziouv daaih yiem meih nyei maengc ceix fuqv bun meih hnoi-hnoi nyei fai? Se gorngv meih oix nor meih haih nyei. Ndaawitv fiev gorngv, “haaix dauh lorz Ziouv wuov dauh zungv maiv caa haaix nyungc,” (Singx Nzung 34:10). Is this the cry of your heart? Do you want to know the Savior and live in fullness of His blessing each day? You can. David wrote, “those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing” ( Psalm 34:10).

  21. Setv Mueiz Waac Conclusion Se gorngv meih haiz meih ganh leih go Ziouv maiv maaih qaqv caux ninh jiu tong hnoi jiex hnoi nor, meih oix zuqc daux gaux tov Ninh aengx dorh meih nzuonx daaih nitv fatv ninh. Ninh hiuv duqv meih mau nyei dorngx, se gorngv meih gorngv mbuox Ninh daaih zoux Ziouv gunv meih nyei maengc nor, Ninh oix daaih tengx meih yiem mbuoqc horngh nyei jauv, yaac oix dorh njang Caux maaih lamh hnamv dorngx nyei jauv daaih taux meih buangh nyei sic, maiv gunv meih haiz ndongc haaix hmuangx caux maiv lamh hnamv dorngx nyei jauv (I^saa^yaa 55:6). If you have drifted in your devotion to the Savior and feel as though you grow more distant each day in your relationship to Him, then pray that He would draw you near once more. He knows your weakness, and if you will tell Him that you want Him to take control of your life, He will come to you in a mighty way and bring hope and light to your situation, no matter how dark and hopeless it may feel (Isaiah 55:6).
