What Does Predestination Mean in the Bible

The doctrine of predestination is one of the most debated issues in church history. It was believed that God had already foreordained everything that God would do in the world. It was believed that God had elected or chosen specific individuals to go to heaven, while others to live in hell. This doctrine that predestination is the only way that God could choose could be true, if it is the only way that God could choose.

  1. What Does Predestination Mean in the Bible? The doctrine of predestination is one of the most debated issues in church history. It was believed that God had already foreordained everything that God would do in the world. It was believed that God had elected or chosen specific individuals to go to heaven, while others to live in hell. This doctrine that predestination is the only way that God could choose could be true, if it is the only way that God could choose. Brought to you by : https://www.kevinjmadison.com/

  2. 1.What does Predestination mean? While the word "predestination" is not in the Bible, the idea that God has already determined how we will live our lives is there. Although the Bible doesn't actually teach that we are predestined to sin, it does clearly teach that we won't go to heaven because we've committed sins. Predestination is the idea that God has already decided who will be saved and who will not, and we therefore can’t change it. Brought to you by : https://www.kevinjmadison.com/

  3. How does God's will for us relate to predestination? Your ultimate destination is your eternal home with your loved ones, but before you get there, you need to get through the intermediate step of the plan of salvation. Your fate is written before you are born, but you can make it happen. In the Book of Job, Job states that he does not know why God has been so cruel to him. It is made clear that Job's life was not what God had originally intended, and he had been tested severely. In the end, God did not change his mind, but Job did.
