  1. Exeter Association of Thailand Keeping in touch:We have recently formed The Exeter Association of Thailand and we would like your involvement! Please read about our recent activities and send us your updates! August 13th, Saturday dinner Tsunami Relief Tour The Association hosted a luncheon for Exeter's Thailand Tsunami Relief Trip. Organized by PEA, participants of the programs are alumni/ae, parents, students, and staff. It was the first community service program of its kind to be offered to the greater PEA constituency. Dr. Taleung Thamrong-Nawasawat’49 and Khun Thavorn Anthachinta’55 presided over the event. Dr. Taleung’s son, Thorn Thamrong-Nawasawat, was the guest speaker to talk about the tsunami. Event sponsors were Khun Prasong Sukhum, Khun Thavorn Anthachinta, Khun Banthoon Lamsam, and Khun Sally Jutabha. November 2005 Admissions visit We’re happy to tell you that the Admissions Office is including Thailand on its Admission tour for the first time this November as part of a Regional Exeter Reception. This would be a great event to introduce your children, grandchildren or family friend to Phillips Exeter. The planning is still in the early stages. If anyone would like to assist with getting the news out to parents and potential students, and perhaps assisting with visits to schools, please let us know. We will of course plan a get together of our Association at that time. Keeping in touch, getting organized We would like to get in touch with current students, alumni/ae, parents (past and present), and friends that makeup our community. So please pass along this message to others in our community living in or connected to Thailand. Please help us keep your record up-to-date. You can update your contact information at the Exeter Alumni website (http://phillips.exeter.edu/) and send us a fax or email copy of your updated page. Alternatively, if you believe we don't have your most recent information, please fill in the attached form and e-mail to Exeter.Thailand@gmail.com or fax it back to our Club Secretary, Sally at 02-252-2117. We will ensure your information is updated in our files and with the Academy.
