  1. Comprises several dialects or varieties of English spoken primarily in the Indian subcontinent. English is an official language of India, with about ninety million speakers. Most Indians use Indian English as a second or third language after their native Indian language. Several idiomatic forms, derived from Indian literary and vernacular language, also mark your way Indian English. Despite this diversity, there is general homogeneity in syntax and vocabulary between varieties of Indian English. Some very expressions used by speakers of Indian English. 1. I won’t give him a single Pai! whose meaning is the same expression I will not pay him a single penny!The Father is a current value in India, 1/16 Rupee. It is a very low value. Therefore, the expression means that you do not give a penny stuck by someone or something. 2. Hotel:Mostly "hotel" means "restaurant". 3.
