Lincolnshire Co-operative Community Champions INCREASE MEMBER ENGAGEMENT • Passive members • All members automatically linked to nominated charity in the area where they live • Active members • Members can choose their own charity online from central list • Wherever members shop, support will be linked to their local or chosen charity • Till receipt message & in store notice board • Total pot linked to dividend – 10% (£210,000 based on last year)

Lincolnshire Co-operative Community Champions Research 4 stores surveyed before launch and 6 months after launch 56% of people surveyed thought that our profits went back to the community this represents a 7% increase since Community Champions was introduced 39% of people surveyed could name a charity we had supported unprompted this represents a 24% increase (up from 15%) in one store 54% of people could name a charity we had supported, representing a 38% increase
