Stress Defined • The experience of a perceived threat (real or imagined) to one’s mental, physical, or spiritual well-being, resulting from a series of physiological response and adaptations
Effects of Stress on the Body • Fight or Flight • Increased Alcohol consumption • Fatigue or Exhaustion • Tight Neck / Shoulders • Insomnia • Headaches/Migraines • Sadness/Depression • Feelings of Hopelessness • Colds and Congestions
