  2. This type of Balding… andpremature tire failure and flat tires!

  3. Causes of Tire Failures

  4. TIRE SEALANT TWO TYPES OF TIRE SEALANTS: Sealants that work and… Sealants that Don’t. How many of you have tried or use a tire sealant?

  5. Why Should I Consider using a Tire Sealant?&What’s a Good Tire SealantLook Like?

  6. Why Use a Tire Sealant? • Increase Tire Life - Maintains Tire Pressure • Increase Fuel Economy – Maintains Tire Pressure • Reduce Flat Tires – Fewer Repairs & Service Calls • Reduce Costly Downtime – Direct & Indirect Costs • Keep Fleet on Schedule – Prevents over-time • Reduce Man Hours – Re-direct Labor Assets • Reduce overall costs –Re-direct Finances • Increase profits - $$$ and help your budget • Fewer headaches, better work environment

  7. A Good Tire Sealant… • Seals up to ½” diameter tread area punctures in heavy ply tires • Seals most minor rim and bead leaks as they occur • Works in Tube and Tubeless tires – more effective in tubeless • Helps maintain tire air pressure – evenly coats all inner tire surfaces • Pre-mixed and ready to use – never separates in container or tire • Works in high & low speed, on & off road, high & low pressure tires • Does not void tire MFG workmanship warranty’s • Effective at all temps – -45F to over 212F • Will not cause tire imbalance when properly used and installed • Stays pH neutral for the life of the tire – prevents dry rot and bacteria • Helps prevent rust and corrosion in tires and wheels • Compatible with all types of rims and wheels • Water Soluble for easy rinsing prior to repair or retread process

  8. A Good Tire Sealant… • Has an Indefinite shelf - storage life • Remains homogeneous – no mixing or stirring needed • Non – explosive & Non – flammable • Meets EPA standards for disposal by municipal sewage systems • Non - hazardous material for shipping and storage • Include effective sealing solids – fibers and particulate, etc. • And most important of all… WORKS CONTINUOUSLY FOR THE LIFE OF THE TIRE

  9. How to install tire sealant? • Installation Process is Simple • Five (5) gallon pail hand injection pump kit: Remove tire valve core and deflate the tire to 45 p.s.i., then inject the sealant. Time – about 3 minutes per truck tire. • Pneumatic injection system: Remove valve core, pumps against any tire pressure, uses your air source. Time – about 1 minute per truck tire.

  10. Which tires should be treated? • Treat any tire you don’t want to go flat, regardless of the age of the tire. • Initiate a sealant program and treat specific vehicles, initially, the high flat rate units are treated first. • Install the sealant into the new tires as they are mounted. Installation fast and simple when the new tires are being mounted. • Mark and track treated the tires and vehicles.

  11. TIRE SEALANT COSTSThings to consider 1. Cost per container 2. Cost per tire 3. Cost per year / month

  12. PRICE vs. COST • Lower Priced– marginal-at-best sealants will end up costing you more over the life of the product, by sealing just one less flat tire over the life of the tires. • The price of a premium tire sealant may be higher, but it will cost less over the life of the tires. The Overall cost will actually be lower!
