Our Mission. The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country is dedicated to working with adults and families who are affected by aging, disability, mental health or substance abuse issues, by providing information and access to services to enhance their quality of life.

  1. Our Mission The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country is dedicated to working with adults and families who are affected by aging, disability, mental health or substance abuse issues, by providing information and access to services to enhance their quality of life.

Aging & Disability Resource Center Offers You: • A single point of contact for information and assistance on issues affecting people with disabilities, regardless of income. • A place to call for students, parents and teachers with disability questions related to adulthood (18+) • We provide accurate, unbiased information related to living and working with a disability • Services can be provided at home, in the office, IEP meetings, via telephone, and/or through a home visit.

  6. Transition Timeline: What to Expect Education At 18 call Social Security and the ADRC. I Know my Dreams and Goals Parents or guardian helps me with my goals. Provides information about services, resources and programs. Independent Living Options. DVR Social Security can help with benefits like Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), Medical Assistance (MA). Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) can help me reach my employment goals. Teachers help me with my goal. Employment

Important Things that Happen at 18 • Resolve the issue of guardianship and/or related alternatives. • Understand adult rights & responsibilities. • Disability determination through SSA and apply • for SSI and Medical Assistance if appropriate. • Develop, coordinate, or execute the Individual service plan. We can help with ALL of this – for FREE!
