Introducing Your Boy to Nature • Go on a bike ride together • Go fishing together • Go on a family camping trip • Send him to summer camp • DON’T let your fears hold him back
Outdoor Organizations for Boys • Cub Scouts – Ages 7-10 • Boy Scouts of America – Ages 10-18 • Venture Crews – Coed – Ages 14-20 • 4-H – Coed – Ages 5-18 • Church youth groups
Equipping PLAY in Nature • Buy him a bike • A cheapo fishing pole • Scrap materials to build a “Fort” • Cardboard boxes can become anything • Get a family pet – e.g. dog, cat • Feeling Really Adventurous?: • Give him a sling shot
