  2. Steps needed In high school you could take any class that varies from calculus to art history because in the end it boils down to what classes one chooses in college. However one should try to get good grenades in order to enter top medical schools and receive scholarship because 8 years of secondary school is the minimum amount of schooling that surgeons can receive.

  3. Degrees and Requirements For a person to become a surgeon they need…… Bachelors degree, masters degree, and doctors degree. 4 years of undergraduate school, four years of medical school, and 3 – 8 years of internship and residency (depends on specialty selected) And to practice any sort of Medicine a person must pass a mandated test ensuring that one is qualified to.

  5. Surgeons what we do, our responsibilities and what we do surgeons are very different from one another, how ever they do have some similarities. One similarity being that they all surgeons no matter what they specialize in, must go through years of secondary school in order to earn their degree, and have the same priority of helping patients. • A person within this field is normally expected to analyze patients and determine their illness. Furthermore surgeons must also analyze patients medical history, and predict their present or future health with this information. • Other expectations: • Refers patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary. • Prescribes preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures, such as sedatives, diets, antibiotics, and preparation and treatment of the patient's operative area

  7. Benefits and Compensations Benefit: The feeling of helping someone in need. Besides that not much benefits and compensations because surgeons like many other occupations receive medical insurance and vacation.

  11. Working Environment Surgeons have a mix of independent and social work environments, because they are expected to analyze any patient they are assigned to (social aspect). However surgeons must constantly study on their own to learn about new diseases, treatments, or to review old information (independent aspect).

  12. Being a Surgeon and My Lifestyle This job will fit my lifestyle because I like helping people and that’s what surgeons do.

  13. Why This Interests Me In my opinion I think this job interests me because I always thought it was cool how nice and helpful surgeons are. Not only that but I also like how well paid they are and how much help a surgeon can give with their experience and their money (donations)
