  8. To develop basic training for academic staff who wish • to use video images as part of their KNG course. • To become proficient and possibly an expert in other • multimedia applications, (both proprietary and open source • software) to enhance my production and training output. • For this year, I will focus on Photoshop and GIMP. • To further develop my audio editing skills using Logic • Pro, Soundtrack Pro and Audacity. • To enhance my presentation skills for training sessions • using PowerPoint and other self paced multimedia training • products.

  9. To “close the gaps” by officialising my computer literacy • skills through attending training conducted on campus. • To find innovative and exciting ways to introduce • “techno-phobic” academic staff to technology which will • enhance their lectures/courses. • To study further at UWC. I am in the process of finding • out what my options are, but I’m needing clarity on • how I can achieve this while being a full-time team member • in DMS. • I trust I will have an opportunity to update this before the • contents are officially reviewed. • Submitted by Bradley Knight on Friday 21 April 2006
