  2. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP THE FRIENDS OF IBSB? All activities and events organized by the “Friends of IBSB” come from ideas and contributions from members of the Committee There are many ways in which you can help: From donating a few hours of your time to cook some cakes to providing sponsorship, donations and logistical support. You can either take on a leading role or occasionally offer your spare. Alternatively, simply attending our organised events means a lot. WHAT HAPPENS AT “FRIENDS OF IBSB” MEETINGS? At these meetings we talk about issues related to the education process in general, come with ideas and suggestions to make our school a better place for our children And find out about current and future IBSB projects And much more! In this way, we can meet each other socially, get to know each other better – and have fun! WHAT ARE THE FRIENDS OF FIBSB? An active association between parents, teachers and children at IBSB. We work together in order to offer our children an education which is complete, enjoyable and successful and to create a strong and integrated community. WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE FRIENDS OF IBSB? • To be completely involved in your child’s education • To show your child that community involvement is important and necessary • To help create a warm, friendly atmosphere which will help your child want to come to school DID YOU KNOW THAT… studies show that when their parents are involved, children achieve better results, have better attendance at school and less problems associated with discipline?
