Why? • Really understand the motivation of using voicemail • Is answering machine ideal replacement – streamline • Technophobes – reluctance to try other means • Personal preference – people who use it like it • Offer alternatives but don’t force a user to switch

Deliver voice recordings like SMS • Convert message to text, send as SMS, Website elaborates • Wav file sent to Email account • Interoperability with Chat programs like MSNmessenger SMS Email www MSN

Somewhat pervasive, but fun
