  2. Youth services for peace is one of the Non-Governmental Organizations which incorporates the youth power to drive a positive change in society. It belongs to List of NGOs in Delhi that are working for the society welfare, women empowerment, and education.

It is being mentioned that youth can bring a positive change in the society with their enthusiastic energy. • About Swachh Bharat Abhiyan In India • It started with the brooming on the roads at Delhi near Safdarganj hospitals, in order to motivate others to keep the city clean. It started on 2nd of October 2014. Actually it is a prolongation of the national level campaign started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Rajghat. Its main aim is to fulfill Gandhiji’s dream of clean India.

  4. Reason behind Starting This drive • The base of developing the idea of starting this drive is to make our country as Gandhiji wanted to see his nation. His thought “Quit India, clean India” is still being implemented. • Conclusion • Though several tons of unwanted waste materials has been cleaned still its main objective is much far from the reach. Also, involvement of people are not satisfactory and it needs to add huge number of population for crossing the set goals. • Issues imparted in order to achieve the goal • There are some issues imparted in the way of achieving the set goal which are listed as: • Everyone believes that cleanliness starts with broom and ends with broom but the fact tells that it has various other facets. • Low awareness of cleanliness among people makes them to stay in their homes and not participate in this drive.

  5. Most important fact is that lack of awareness led to the birth of some fictitious statements that forced the people away from manual scavenging and cleaning activities.
