Biotic-living, abiotic-nonliving • Permanently frozen soil, in the Tundra • Amixture of salt and fresh water, a river and an ocean mix • Coniferous tree- green all year and has needles, found in the Taiga. Deciduous tree- loses their leaves, found in the temperate deciduous forest • An area of little rain and cold temperatures • Rain forest • Savanna/grassland • marine= salt, Freshwater= very little salt • An area of little rain and cold temperatures • Tropical rainforest-must survive lots of rain (very short vegetation), Taiga- must survive cold temps (fur, hibernate, etc.), Desert- must survive little or no rain (burrows, waxy coating on plants), Savanna- must survive little rain (burrows) and the use of camouflage from prey, Tundra- must survive cold temps (fur, hibernate, migrate etc.), Temperate deciduous forest-must survive changing seasons (fur)
