  2. Benefits of Occupational Therapy for Autism Occupational therapists study human growth and development and a person’s interaction with the environment through daily activities. They are experts in the social, emotional, and physiological effects of illness and injury. This knowledge helps them promote skills for independent living in people with autism and other developmental disorders.

  3. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) 1 in 66 children in Canada and 1 in 54 children in the USA have been diagnosed with autism. One third of children with autism have problems obtaining specialty care, and approximately 40% face difficulties accessing desired services. Our goal is to increase access to Autism intervention and improve learner-centered care.

  4. About Us Your Learner Education was founded by Director Ohoud Alharbi in May 2020 based out of Vancouver, BC. Alharbi has a PhD in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University. Her focus was on research in human-computer interaction, usability, interaction design, assistive technology, and educational games. She was the recipient of the Michael A.J. Sweeney award at the 2019 Graphic Interface Conference.
