  1. Cadet CorpsAwards and Ribbons School Level

  2. School Service 3009 Awarded to all cadets who have satisfactory served for two school semesters (or major portion thereof)

  3. State Service 3006 Awarded to cadets who performed valuable service for the school and community. Cadets must complete a minimum of twenty (20) hours of duty, outside the regular cadet training program.

  4. Bivouac 3012 Awarded to cadets who have completed an extended cadet field exercise of at least thirty (30) hours.

  5. Disaster Preparedness 3000 Awarded to cadets who have earned certification in Disaster Preparedness taught by a governmental or non-profit agency of at least six (hours) in duration.

  6. Hunter Safety Certification 5131 Awarded to cadets who have earned a certification in Hunter Safety taught by an instructor certified by Department of Fish and Game. The course must be at least eight (8) hours in duration.

  7. First Aid Certification 3632 Awarded to cadets who earned a certification in First Aid from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute, National Safety Council or Emergency Medical Service Authority. The course must be a minimum of eight (8) hours in duration.

  8. Competitive Rifle Team 3622 Awarded to cadets who are members of the cadet unit competitive rifle team(s) who have completed in at least one (1) state championship preliminary match, state postal match or brigade championship match.

  9. Drill Team 3001 Awarded to cadets who is an active member of a units drill team.

  10. Parade Participation 5137 Awarded to cadets who have participated in a parade sponsored by a civic or government agency held on or near a public thoroughfare.

  11. Flag Detail 5213 Awarded to cadets who participate as a member of the school flag detail raising or lowering the flag a minimum of twenty (20) times.

  12. Color Guard 3505 Awarded to cadets who, as an active member of the color guard, presents the Colors a minimum of five (5) times in one school year.

  13. Honor Unit 3504 Awarded annually to the members of the sub-unit with the most outstanding record of leadership, achievement, and service within each school unit during the school year.

  14. Superior Uniform Inspection 3625 Awarded to cadets who have earned ten (10) superior uniform inspections. Records shall be kept verifying eligible superior uniform inspections .

  15. Citizenship 3703 Awarded each semester to cadets who demonstrate satisfactory school citizenship. The following are characteristics of good citizenship in all classes to be eligible for this award: Classroom conduct, Regular class attendance, Truthfulness, Dependability and Morality.

  16. Commandant of Cadet Citation 3618 Awarded to cadets who in the opinion of their commandant have performed exceptional service to the unit and the recognition does not come within the scope of other awards.

  17. Battalion Cadre 5018 Awarded to cadets who serve for a minimum of one semester as a member of the battalion staff in the position of battalion commander, executive officer, sergeant major, S-1, S-3, S-4 or S-5.

  18. Principal’s Citation 4022 Awarded to cadets who in the opinion of their principal have brought credit upon themselves and their school through activities that do not qualify for other ribbons.

  19. Physical Fitness Achievement 3206 Awarded to cadets who meet the California public school physical fitness requirements.

  20. Physical Fitness Competition 3510 Awarded to cadets who compete in any physical fitness competition conducted by the HQCACC, its cadet brigades or by branches of the United States military.

  21. Basic Proficiency 3012 Awarded to cadets who have demonstrated basic mastery of cadet corps standards. Mastery evidence by the completion of and the attainment of the rank of cadet sergeant.

  22. Intermediate Proficiency 3011 Awarded to cadets who have demonstrated intermediate master of cadet corps standards. Mastery evidence by the completion of and the attainment of the rank of cadet master sergeant.

  23. Advanced Proficiency 3010 Awarded to cadets who have demonstrated advanced mastery of cadet corps standards. Mastery evidence by the completion of and the attainment of the rank of cadet captain.

  24. Superior Scholarship 3100 Awarded each semester to cadets who achieve a “B” average (3.0 grade point average) or higher. GPA of 4.0 = gold oak leaf cluster attachment GPA 0f 3.75 - 3.99 = silver oak leaf cluster attachment GPA of 3.50 - 3.74 = bronze oak leaf cluster attachment

  25. Distinguished Service 4011 Awarded to cadets who have demonstrated their devotion to the cadet codes during their membership in the corps. It not intended to be competitive.

  26. Essayons 3700 Awarded to cadets who exemplify the motto of the corps. This award is not intended to recognize achievement; it is an award for effort alone. Awarded this award shall be no greater than one per 50 cadets or major fraction therof.
