  2. Budget&Overall Box Office Takings • The production company was given a budget of six million dollars. • In the opening weekend, the film earned $302,393. Overall, it earned $245,060,411 which is obviously a lot considering the budget.

  3. Availability • The Godfather is available to view online with Lovefilm and Netflix. Lovefilm also gives the viewer the choice to view the film online or by DVD. • The film can also be found on multiple websites to watch illegally with relatively easy effort. It is also available to download illegally through the use of Torrent websites.

  4. DVD Releases • The DVD was released in 2001, and costs £14.99 from websites such as Amazon and Play. There are also multiple box sets containing 3 to 5 discs, that feature the film, it’s sequels as well as bonus material. These box sets cost around £15 • For it’s 40th Anniversary, it was re-released on blu-ray in a box set, which costs £90 and £150 depending on the shop or website.
