  2. Juniors 8/29 • Warm-ups: a. Photo #2—”The Happy Couple” (then collect warm-ups) b. vocabulary 2. Discuss writing assessment for cloning HW: bring textbooks on Wednesday (9/3) HW: Final assessment (letter to senator) for cloning unit DUE: Thursday 9/4 @ 10:00 p.m. to turnitin.com

  3. Freshmen 8/29 • Warm-up: assemble warm-ups for collection; share creative writing • Peer edit (if needed) • Book walk in textbook • TWZ: Brain Break HW: Bring textbooks all week next week HW: Final letter DUE: Tuesday to turnitin.com by 8:00 p.m.

  4. Info. for cloning final assessment • Make a T-chart (or two) for Activity 19 #1 (you will turn this in with the five bullet points you did in Activity 19 yesterday). You CAN do it on the same paper as the bullet points. • Carefully read and consider (not write) the rest of Activity 19—this tells you how to structure your letter and what to include in it!

  5. 3. Complete Activity 20 4. NOTE: Activities 19 (bullet points and #1) and Activity 20 are considered your ROUGH DRAFT! These must be turned in on Friday 9/5 when you come to class! I ONLY want these activities turned in on Friday—nothing else from your Writer’s Notebook 5. NOTE: read through activity 24 for more details on the structure of the letter. Activities 25 on are there for your consideration, but you DO NOT have to complete them
