Cork 2.0 Declaration (Sept. 2016): "A better life in rural areas" • Stakeholderconferencedeveloped 10 policy orientations: • - "implementation of integratedstrategies and multi-sectoralapproaches" (point on rural prosperity) • - "strengthenurban-rual linkages" (point on rural viability and vitality) • - "Building on the success of Leader…bottom-up and locally-led initiatives shouldberolled out to mobilise rural potentials" (point on enhancing rural governance) • - "...furthersimplify [CAP] implementation; reduce administrative burden on beneficiaries and administrations; wide application of simplifiedcost options" (point on advancingpolicydelivery and simplification) • -> emphasizes importance of Leader/ CLLD, reinforcingitsrole • -> Leader / CLLD links to / canaddress all 10 policy orientations • -> applying Leader principles to "mainstream" policy
