  4. These sites allow users to share information for the purpose of building relationships within their individual network. Some of the biggest social networking sites are Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace, and YouTube. Social Networking Sites

  5. Social Networking Sites • The percentage of people that use social networking sites, for Facebook is 54%, Twitter is 10%, and any social network is 56%. • 98% of people 18-24 use Facebook. • 490 million people use YouTube every month.

  6. Professional networking sites are used by professionals seeking to expand their career. One of the biggest site used is LinkedIn, it is right behind Facebook and Twitter. Professional Networking Sites

  7. Blogs • A blog is a website maintained by an individual who posts topics or opinions. • Some of the most popular blogs are the Huffington Post, TMZ, and The Business Insider. • It is estimated that 160,000 blogs are created per month.

  8. Social Bookmarking • Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to organize, store, manage and search for bookmarks of resources online. • Many people use social bookmarking to build up their web sites quickly.

  9. Social Bookmarking • There are over 200 social bookmarking, so there are many to chose from. • Bookmarking comes from Digg, Sphinn, Del.icio.us, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Technorati, BlogSpot and even a blog can be a social bookmark.

  10. Facts • Computers are one of the main ways to communicate, in business and in ones personal life. • An estimated 6,499,697,060 people use the internet and communicate all over the world every day.
