New Business • Funding for October Event • Jim Dieter Visit Thursday October 11th at 5:15pm NOAO Bldg • Travel expenses are being paid by the NPMA Foundation • Would like the Chapter to Vote on covering appetizers / drinks • November Officer Elections • Need at least two chapter members for the Nomination Committee • Chapter vote required to deviate from Bi-Laws to have Electronic Nomination Submission (see below) SECTION 2. The Nominating Committee appointed by the President and consisting of at least two active, voting members not holding elective office, shall make nominations for Chapter officers. The committee shall present the nomination list to the general membership at the meeting immediately preceding the meeting at which the election is to take place. The slate shall consist of the eligible members who have consented to serve if elected. Any Chapter voting member may make additional nominations from the floor. Elections shall be decided by plurality vote by secret ballot. • Voting will take place electronically through the Nomination Committee and the Election results will be revealed at the November 15th meeting

New Business • Upcoming Events • Sunday October 7th - Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes • Located at the Rillito Downs • Time 7:30am • There will be Volunteer Training the week before – Details to come • Thursday October 11th - Jim Dieter Visit (RSVP By Oct 5th) • Located at the NOAO Bldg at the University of Arizona • Time 5:15pm • Appetizers and Drinks will be provided • November • Clean and Beautiful Project - Date TBD (3rd or 17th) • December • Adopt a Family - Date TBD (may begin in November) • Holiday Party - Friday December 7th • We will be collecting Adopt a Family gifts at the Holiday Party
