The conducting body can reject the applicant's candidature at any stage of recruitment if they do not meet the requirements. If the candidate is appointed, they are liable to be removed from service. AFCAT: Air Force Eligibility Criteria for Selection Because the AFCAT Notification 2023 has not yet been released, the eligibility conditions based on the AFCAT Notification 2022 are listed below. Examine the detailed information based on the relevant parameters, then post-by-post eligibility criteria: Nationality AFCAT To apply for the AFCAT exam, the candidate must be a citizen of India, according to the Indian Citizenship Act of 1955. Marital Status in AFCAT Candidates under the age of 25 must not be married when training begins. Under the age of 25, divorcees and widows are ineligible. A candidate who marries during his training will be removed from the service and must repay the government for any expenses incurred on his behalf. Married candidates over 25 are entitled to apply. However, they will not be supplied with married housing and will not be permitted to live with their families outside the campus during the training time. AFCAT Age Restrictions The minimum age for people interested in applying for the flying branch is mentioned below. The AFCAT scrutinizes each document presented by an applicant during the document verification process and is particularly stringent about age restrictions. Age Limit Position Both male and female candidates must meet the maximum and minimum age requirements for the AFCAT AFCAT Flying Branch flying branch. Graduate (Three-Year Course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum grade marks average of 60% or higher. BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized university with at least 60% or equivalent grades. A minimum of 60% or equivalent in Sections A and B of the Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India examination from a recognized university. Flying O?cer Eligibility: NCC Special Entry Candidates with an Air Wing Senior Division 'C' Certificate from the National Cadet Corps can apply to the Indian Air Force's Flying Branch. Men and women who are not married may apply. Permanent Commission is available for men, and Short Service Commission is available for both men and women. Flying O?cer Eligibility: AFCAT Entry Candidates can only apply for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch through AFCAT. Unmarried men and women can apply for SSC in the Air Force. The Flying branch's Short Service Commission is for 14 years with no additional extensions. Eligibility for the Air Force's Ground Duty Technical Branch under AFCAT The Indian Air Force has established the following eligibility requirements for the Ground Duty Technical Branch: Age Requirement for AFCAT: The Technical Branch of the Indian Air Force must have between 20 and 26 years of age at the start of the course to be eligible for Ground Duty. Men and women may apply for it. Both men and women can join the IAF's Permanent Commission (for men) or Short Service Commission(for both men and women).
