  7. A Waste of Time? 2007/2008 – 337.3 Hours 77% - top level utilisation 2008/2009 – 239 Hours 86.2% - top level utilisation 2009/2010 – 100 Hours 94.7% - top level utilisation

  8. Engagement with a supportive Head of Service and use of data has cultured a significant change in practice

  9. Eye Theatre used more effectively Increase of 216 patients in 09/10 Increase of more than 1 months activity

  10. ENT Theatre used more effectively Increase of 151 patients in 09/10 Increase of more than 1 months activity

  11. Potential for more improvement with the introduction of a dedicated Day Surgery facility
