  5. Support available (cont.) • WHO CC : TENDON ICD-10 Computer based training package Basic training for ICD 10 and re-orientation for coders familiar with ICD 9

  6. Indonesia : • This is conducted under the surveillance of Non Communicable Diseases • All hospitals within one city • Training of MR officers on ICD-X • Computer training for the MR officers • Development of local software to extract info from ICD-X

  7. Nepal : • Support hardware and software to these hospitals • Orientation to the medical and paramedical staff on ICD-X

  8. Keys for success in India • Motivated chief of CBHI • Manpower • Better infrastructure
