At St. Dominic Savio School, our 4th graders embody the Schoolwide Learning Expectations that teach them to appreciate their bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. Through lessons on healthy eating, athletic skills, and sportsmanship, students are encouraged to adopt a balanced lifestyle. These expectations also foster personal growth, encouraging students to help others and strengthen their Christian faith through prayer and Bible reading. Engaging with a variety of books each month, like "Captain Underpants" and the "Joe Sherlock Series," enhances their reading skills and overall character development.

The Schoolwide Learning Expectations at St. Dominic Savio helped me to become a better person by teaching me to give to those that need help. I have also learned about how to be a better Christian, by praying for others and reading the Bible more often. Reading different books each month had made me a better reader. I liked reading books like Captain Underpants and Joe Sherlock Series.
