California State University Program for Education and Research in Biotechnology Funding • Three sources for funding currently • Legislative earmark ($106) began in 1999 • Tithe ($400K) • Chancellor ($45) • Total funding each year: $1,445,000 • Federal dollars (regional training facilities) • As expenses go up, $$ available for grants goes down!
