  2. Editorial • An editorial is an article in a newspaper or other periodical • Ex. The publisher expressed his opinion in the editorial.

  3. Hesitation • Hesitation is a delay due to uncertainty of mind or fear • Ex. His hesitation caused him the championship.

  4. Incredulous • Incredulous is skeptical • Ex. The girl had an incredulous smile.

  5. Nonchalantly • Nonchalantly is coolly unconcerned; casually • Ex. She nonchalantly gave up her phone as if it didn’t bother her to be punished.

  6. Rebellious • Rebellious is defying or resisting established authority • Ex. The rebellious girl did not listen to any directions given to her.

  7. Reputation • A reputation is an estimation in which a person or thing is held • Ex. Due to good grades, manners, and a good behavior, the boy earned himself a good reputation.

  8. Rivalry • A rivalry is an action, position, or relation of a rival • Ex. There is a big rivalry between Texas and Arkansas.

  9. Sarcasm • Sarcasm is a sneering or cutting remark • Ex. I could hear the sarcasm in his voice when he mocked the girl.

  10. Sympathetic • Sympathetic is characterized by, proceeding from, exhibiting, or feeling sympathy • Ex. The girl showed to be sympathetic when she helped a friend in need.

  11. Unfathomable • Unfathomable is immeasurable, incomprehensible • Ex. Nobody could understand the complex, unfathomable sentence.
