This report provides an analysis of workforce readiness based on responses from 333 HR professionals, examining competency gaps in new workers entering the labor market. Conducted from February 19 to February 29, 2008, the survey had a response rate of 12% from 2,850 emails sent. Workforce Readiness • Sample comprised of 333 randomly selected HR professionals. • Analyzing 333 responses of 2,850 emails sent, 2,770 emails were received (response rate = 12%). • Survey fielded February 19 – February 29, 2008; presentation generated on March 11, 2008. • Margin of error is +/- 5%.
